The San Juan Puerto Rico Discover Scuba Diving Program is designed to give first-time divers an educational and unforgettable introduction to the amazing underwater world of scuba diving.

If you have never experienced scuba diving before and would like to try it in a safe, professional environment,  this is the activity for you.

In just 3 hours our skilled instructors will have you diving under their care and supervision in one of San Juan’s most protected coves.  No prior scuba diving experience is necessary for the Discover Diving Course.

Your Discover Diving Course begins right in San Juan, close to your cruise ship, with a short presentation that teaches you about the basics of scuba diving.

Next, it is into a swimming pool or onto the beach for your first experience breathing underwater.

In the shallow waters, your instructor will teach you some basic diving skills.

The introductory diving instruction will enable you to master some basic concepts and scuba skills.

The goal of our instructors is to make you feel safe, secure, comfortable and confident, as you experience scuba diving in one of the world’s most diverse and important ecosystems.

Then get ready to dive with our experienced certified diver/guides in approx. 15-20 feet of water.

During this dive, your instructor will act as your personal guide and accompany you as you explore the incredible variety of corals and sea life.

All equipment is included in the cost of the package.
