We will depart from your cruise ship pier or your hotel on a 30-minute ride in our air-conditioned transport through small communities and towns to the Rio Grande and Loquillo area towards the Northeast side of the Island just below El Yunque National Rain forest.
Once we have arrived to our location we will walk to our launch site which is only steps away from our van. Once onboard our adventure into Puerto Ricos River Estuary begins.
Your guide will narrate and show you all the Fauna that exist in this estuary like Turtles, Iguanas, Ducks, Grey Heron, and much more. If you are lucky you just might see free-range horses walking by the river bed.
During your ride, you will also see how some local communities live along the river and how they survive by fishing for their food daily or by growing it right by the side of the riverbed.
As our Pontoon boat makes its final turn towards the Atlantic Ocean get your cameras ready. You will not want to miss this spectacular sight as we approach the ocean from our hidden paradise tucked away in this beautiful Sanctuary.
Our boat will beach at the first sandbar where you will disembark to enjoy your fun time at the beach. If you wish to sit back and relax that too is on our menu for today! Here you will have an hour of self-time to enjoy this beautiful beach.

On our way back from your relaxing stop at the beach we will ride through the Estuary which is one of the most important resources of the Natural Reserve. The estuary is an ecological community characterized by the mixing of freshwater from the river and ocean water that you just left.
